What
are the system requirements for The Perfect-Teller Program?
You
must have Windows 95 or above, a 486 or above, 16 Meg Ram, at least a 28.8
modem, and Internet access.
Do
I need a special browser to use Perfect-Teller?
No.
Since the browser is only used for downloading the program and for online
help, there are no special requirements for your browser. You can use
either Netscape or Internet Explorer.
Can I use the Perfect-Teller
program on an Apple Macintosh computer?
There
are programs (called emulators) that allow your MAC to run Windows programs.
One of these programs should allow you to use the perfect teller program
on your MAC.
I have more than
one account at the credit union. Will I be able to access all of them?
Yes.
You can access as many accounts as you have. The Perfect-Teller program
will also allow you to save the password for each of those accounts.
I am a member of
more than one credit union. Will I be able to use the Perfect-Teller program
to access my accounts at multiple credit unions?
Yes,
as long as each of those credit unions are running the Perfect-Teller
(or CU-AT-HOME) server software. In fact the Perfect-Teller program allows
you to save a different set of accounts and passwords for each credit
union.
Will I be able
to transfer money between my accounts at different credit unions?
Not
at this time. That would require an actual exchange of funds between the
two credit unions which is not currently supported. It's possible this
feature may be added in some future version.
What is the clock
in the top right corner of the window for?
The
Perfect Teller program allows you to sit idle for only five minutes before
it disconnects you. Each time you perform some operation that requires
information to be requested from the Credit Union's computer, it resets
the timer back to five minutes. The time then starts counting down to
0:00 at which time the program will "Time Out" and disconnect you. Of
course, it always says 5:00 while you are not signed on.
